Got this professionally installed, so I can't comment on installation difficulty. It's been installed for 6 months. Works every day. Sometimes have to try twice on really cold days, but that's not the starter's fault at below zero temps. Have had no problems, and operation is simple. Pretty happy with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Has been life saver for 6+ years! Does exactly what I expected., December 20, 2011

I had the Python 571XP LED 2-Way Keyless/Remote Start System installed at Circuit City in San Francisco in 2005 and it still works great. I've lived in snow country (Lake Tahoe) and can't imagine NOT having it! I don't know why the other reviewer said his system only warmed up for 3 minutes; mine goes for 12 minutes. It may be the person doing the settings. The only complaint is the remote itself. If you're like me, who drops his keys often, you may have to buy a replacement remote for about $50 bucks. The programming is surprisingly easy.

I was excited to have this product installed in my new car, as I can't live without having a remote start after having one on my last car. Circuit City installed this product, and after about 12 visits to get it repaired..... it never was what it advertised. It starts my car, it locks and unlocks my car......but it only starts my car for about 3 minutes, then it turns off...... and after 12 visits.....it does the same thing. So I can stand inside when it is cold out, and start it over and over after 3 minutes each.
